Quartz Countertop Singapore: About S$500–S$1,500 per Metre

Quick answer

FixMove supplies and installs quartz countertops (engineered stone) across Singapore at about S$500–S$1,500 per metre of counter, depending on series, colour, thickness and fabrication. Brands we carry include Caesarstone, Silestone and Quantra. Many engineered-quartz products are non-porous and designed for easy upkeep, while pattern repeat and technical limits vary by the selected brand and series. The countertop and the cabinets under it are made by the same FixMove carpentry team — one measurement visit, one schedule, one quote. The range above is a reference; the actual figure comes after measurement and slab selection, so send photos and a rough length first — no order needed to ask. 中文版

Where quartz makes sense

All of these are priced on the same basis — per metre of counter — whichever room they go in.

Quartz vs marble vs sintered stone

We fabricate and install all three worktop types. Some quartz series support a useful planning range; natural marble and sintered surfaces are normally quoted against the selected slab. There is no universal price order because brand, thickness, finish, cut-outs, edge work, support, wastage and installation all affect the total.

Quartz (engineered stone)About S$500–S$1,500 per metre of counter, depending on series, colour, thickness and fabricationMany products are non-porous and designed for easy upkeep; pattern and care limits vary by brand and series.
Marble (natural stone)Quoted per slab you selectNatural veining — every slab is different. Porous, needs sealing, and reacts to acids like lime juice and vinegar.
Sintered stone (large-format surface)Quoted per slab you selectAvailable in large formats; confirm heat, scratch, stain and wet-area performance on the selected product datasheet. See the sintered stone countertop page.

What moves the price

A note on units before anything else: many countertop quotes in Singapore are given per foot run. Ours is per metre of counter, and the supply basis is confirmed in writing on the quote itself — so check the unit before comparing numbers, or two quotes that look far apart may actually be close.

How charges work: The visit is free, subject to route and schedule; on-site measurement carries no diagnosis fee. A S$30 priority visit lets you pick your own arrival time and is credited in full when the work proceeds. S$10 fuel per visit; materials billed separately. Weekends and public holidays cost the same as weekdays. Asking a question books nothing.

From measurement to installation

  1. Measure — on-site measurement is required: cutout positions, corners, wall lines and cabinet level all get confirmed on site, not off a floor plan.
  2. Pick the slab — choose from the Caesarstone / Silestone / Quantra series, or WhatsApp us a photo of the look you want and we will suggest the closest boards.
  3. Quote — a written quote based on the chosen slab, metres, cutouts and edging, with materials and workmanship listed separately.
  4. Fabricate — the slab is cut, drilled and edged to your measurements. If your chosen board needs to be brought in, slab stock arrives in about 30–45 days, so build that window into your renovation timeline.
  5. Install — the top is fitted, sealed at the joints and handed over ready to use.

Check the care routine before you choose a slab

Quartz is low-maintenance, but it is not maintenance-free: wipe spills promptly, use a cutting board, and keep hot cookware on a trivet. Our practical guide explains what to do about grease, turmeric and dried residue, which cleaners to avoid, and when a mark needs professional assessment.

Countertop and cabinets from one team

FixMove does its own carpentry and supplies its own stone, so the countertop and the cabinets can be quoted and scheduled together:

Frequently asked questions

Why can you publish a per-metre range for quartz but not for marble or sintered stone?

Quartz series can sometimes support a useful planning range, but the final figure still depends on the selected product, thickness, cut-outs, edge work and installation. Natural marble differs slab by slab; sintered surfaces vary by brand, format, thickness and finish. These are normally quoted against the actual slab and scope — a full large-format slab (about 3–5 m) can run roughly S$3,000–S$30,000 — so we give an itemised figure after selection and measurement.

Is your price per foot or per metre?

Per metre of counter. Quite a few quotes in Singapore are per foot run, which makes their headline numbers look smaller than a per-metre figure for the same job. Our quote states the supply basis in writing, so when you compare, make sure every quote is converted to the same unit first.

Does quartz need sealing like marble?

Usually not. Most engineered-quartz products are non-porous and are not routinely sealed, but follow the exact brand and product care manual; do not add a sealer, wax or polish unless the manufacturer permits it. Use a trivet under hot cookware rather than resting it directly on the top.

Can you replace just the countertop and keep my existing cabinets?

Sometimes, subject to inspection. During measurement we check that the existing carcass is level, stable, dry and able to support the new top. We replace only the countertop when those checks pass; damaged or moving cabinets need repair or replacement before fabrication.

What warranty applies after installation?

Workmanship is covered for 12 months; the quartz slab itself follows the brand’s manufacturer warranty. Full terms are in the warranty and refund policy, and payment plus surcharge terms are in the terms of service.

Send photos and a rough length — we’ll place you in the range

WhatsApp +65 9823 7108 with three things: photos of the kitchen as it is now, the approximate counter length in metres, and the look you are after (plain, fine grain or marble-look veining). We will tell you roughly where that combination lands in the range, then arrange measurement whenever you are ready.
