Booking, visit and pricing questions
These rules apply to the visit unless a written quotation states a more specific job scope.
Do you charge for the visit?
No call-out labour fee applies to route-and-schedule visits. A S$10 fuel surcharge still applies per visit. If you want to pick your own arrival time, a S$30 priority visit is available and is not deductible from the work quotation.
Is there a diagnosis fee?
Only when the fault has to be traced. For known-scope work - mounting, installing, assembling, replacing a named part, or an on-site measurement - there is no diagnosis fee or call-out labour fee; the S$10 fuel surcharge still applies. Where fault-finding is needed, diagnostic labour is quoted separately before it begins and is credited in full toward the related work when the customer proceeds.
Do you charge more at night?
The hour you start is the only scheduling factor that changes the price, and it applies to the labour quote: 00:00-06:00 +50%, 06:00-09:00 +30%, 09:00-21:00 normal rates, 21:00-24:00 +30%. There is no flat night call-out fee. The out-of-hours surcharge is overtime and is not credited against the job.
Do you charge more on weekends or public holidays?
No. Weekends and public holidays are charged at normal rates - a Saturday afternoon costs the same as a Wednesday afternoon. Only the hour of the visit changes the price.
Are materials included in the price?
No. Materials are billed separately in addition to the job price, and no time-of-day surcharge is applied to them. The job price itself is confirmed on site before any work starts.
