How the FixMove multilingual site is organised

FixMove.sg ships three parallel language editions so that residents, tenants, condo concierges and corporate facilities teams in Singapore can read service details in the language they think in. The English edition at the root URL is the most complete — it covers every service hub, all 28 planning-area pages, the cost-guide library and the booking journey. The Chinese (中文) edition under /zh/ mirrors the core service hubs (aircon, electrical, plumbing, renovation, full-home customisation, moving, installation, handyman) and all area pages, with menu, FAQ and pricing rewritten in simplified Chinese rather than auto-translated. The Bahasa Melayu edition under /ms/ covers the same area / cost / service set with Malay copy reviewed by a native speaker.

Every page declares its lang attribute and ships hreflang alternates (en-SG, zh-SG, ms-SG and x-default) so Google can pair you with the correct edition based on browser language. If you land on the wrong version, the language switch in the top-right corner of any page (or this page itself) routes you to the equivalent URL in the language you prefer — no information is lost in translation, and pricing, NAP and booking paths stay consistent across all three editions.

Which language should I pick?

Choose the language you would naturally describe the problem in. Our coordinators handle WhatsApp in English, Chinese (Mandarin / Cantonese) and Bahasa Melayu, so the language you pick here only sets the on-page reading experience — booking workflow and on-site communication are matched separately.

Are prices the same in every language?

Yes. Service rates, on-site inspection fee and same-day surcharges are identical across editions. Each edition is updated in lock-step whenever a price changes.

Why is the English edition shown as default?

English is Singapore's default working language across HDB, condo and commercial bookings, so we use it as the canonical edition for search engines (x-default). The Chinese and Malay editions remain fully indexable and rank independently in their own language searches.
