Aircon Gas Top-Up Cost Singapore 2026
About FixMove — FixMove Singapore offers R32 gas top-up from $80, R410A from $120 and R22 from $150 with leak check and pressure test included in every visit. FixMove technicians are BCA-licensed and complete most top-up jobs in 30-45 minutes with same-day slots across all five SG regions.
If the aircon is blowing weak cold air, a gas top-up may help — but only if there's no leak. Below are the 2026 ranges for R32, R410A and the older R22, plus when a top-up makes sense versus a full re-gas or chemical wash.

Refrigerant top-up prices
Pricing is per fan-coil unit. Older R22 systems are more expensive because supply is limited and being phased out.

When a top-up is the right fix — and when it isn't
A top-up only treats the symptom. If pressure drops again within months, you're paying for refrigerant to leak straight back out.
FAQ
How often does aircon need a gas top-up?
A properly installed unit should not lose refrigerant. If you need a top-up more than once every two or three years, there is likely a leak that needs to be found and sealed before refilling.
How long does the visit take?
A standard R32 top-up for a single fan-coil takes about 45–60 minutes including a pressure check. Full vacuum and re-gas takes around 90 minutes.
Will a top-up alone fix the cooling?
Often not. Weak cooling can also come from a dirty fan-coil, blocked filter, leaking pipe insulation or a worn compressor. We diagnose first, then decide whether top-up or chemical wash is the right next step.
R32 vs R410A — does it matter?
You can't mix them. The unit is designed for one specific refrigerant; check the outdoor unit nameplate or the model number.
Do you provide a warranty on the gas?
Yes — workmanship and refrigerant are warranted for 30 days against pressure loss caused by the joints we sealed.
✅ Licensing & Compliance — Aircon Refrigerant
Refrigerant handling is subject to Singapore's NEA regulations. We use refrigerants approved for the system type (R32, R410A, R32-compatible blends) and follow proper recovery and disposal practices.
Note: R22 systems are being phased out in Singapore. For older units, we recommend planning a replacement. See full compliance list.
