Connect existing services
Connect compatible supplied hoses to accessible, serviceable nearby inlet and drain points, and use a suitable existing power outlet.
Test and hand over
Run the available fill and drain checks, inspect the new external connections for leakage and explain the completed scope.
Built-in, freestanding and slimline models can be assessed. Decorative door panels, cabinet cutting, plumbing branches, fixed wiring and removal of the old appliance are included only when they appear in the written quote.
What to send for an accurate quote
- Brand and model number, plus the manufacturer installation page if available.
- Appliance width, height and depth, and a clear photo of the cabinet opening.
- Photos showing the water isolation point, intended drain connection and power outlet.
- Hose lengths and supplied accessories, especially for a replacement or slimline model.
- Whether an old dishwasher must be disconnected, moved or disposed of.
- Postal code, access restrictions and your preferred appointment window.
Connection and regulated-work boundaries
Power connection
Connecting the appliance plug to a suitable existing outlet is part of appliance installation. A new or changed socket, circuit or fixed wiring is a separate scope and must be handled or supervised by a Licensed Electrical Worker where required. See EMA guidance on engaging an LEW.
Water and drain connection
The planning range assumes accessible and serviceable existing connection points. A new or altered water-service point or other regulated water-service work is separately assessed and routed to an appropriate Licensed Plumber where required. See PUB water-supply requirements.
Dishwasher installation versus dishwasher repair
This page is for installation: siting, levelling, external water and drain connections, power connection and commissioning checks. Internal error codes, failed pumps, heaters, motors, control boards or other appliance faults require a separate repair diagnosis and are not included in an installation quote. A leak at a newly completed external connection can be assessed under the applicable installation workmanship cover.

What must be ready before the installer arrives?

Do you install built-in, freestanding and slimline dishwashers?
Yes. The written quote will state whether standard positioning, levelling and connection are included and whether cabinetry, panel or removal work is a separate scope.
What if I need a new socket, water point or drain branch?
That is additional work and is not assumed in the standard installation range. It is assessed and itemised separately, with regulated electrical or water-service work routed to the appropriate licensed worker when required.
Does this service include dishwasher repair?
No. This page covers siting, levelling, external connections and commissioning. Internal appliance faults such as error codes, pumps, heaters, motors or control boards require a separate repair diagnosis.
What workmanship warranty applies?
General installation workmanship is covered for 90 days. If separately scoped regulated plumbing or electrical work is performed, the written quote states the applicable cover under our published warranty policy. The appliance remains under its manufacturer warranty.
