How much does a false ceiling cost?
L-box trim around aircon: $1,200-$2,500 per room. Full drop ceiling for living room: $3,500-$5,500. Whole HDB 4-room: $3,500-$6,500.
Will a false ceiling reduce ceiling height?
Standard drop is 8-15 cm, leaving 2.40-2.50m headroom in HDB (originally 2.55m). For low ceilings, we use shallow L-box (5 cm) instead.
Can I integrate downlights and ceiling fans?
Yes — most false ceilings include 4-8 downlights as standard. Ceiling fans require structural beam (we identify during site survey).
How long does installation take?
Single L-box: 1-2 days. Living room drop: 3-4 days. Whole house: 5-7 days. We work room-by-room.
What's the difference between gypsum and PVC?
Gypsum: smooth, paintable, premium look. PVC: water-resistant, washable, ideal for kitchens/bathrooms. We recommend gypsum for living areas, PVC for wet areas.
What's the warranty?
